And
since today is Easter Sunday, Easter Bunnies/Rabbits are all over places. Do you know that The Easter Bunny or Easter Rabbit
is a character depicted as a rabbit bringing Easter eggs? The Easter Bunny is
sometimes depicted with clothes. In legend, the creature carries colored eggs
in his basket, candy and sometimes also toys to the homes of children, and as
such shows similarities to Santa Claus, as they both bring gifts to children on
the night before their respective holiday. It was first mentioned in Georg Franck
von Frankenau's De ovis paschalibus
(About Easter Eggs) in 1682 referring to an Alsace tradition of an Easter Hare
bringing Easter Eggs. Yay! They’re such a great cutie and huggable creatures!

As
we talk about rabbits, let me share with you dearies my experience on visiting
the The Robby Rabbitry / MoCa Farm last February 24, which is located at Brgy.
Castillo, Padre Garcia, Batangas City, Philippines. My sister Ai and I together
with co-TRTs visited the Robby Rabbitry Farm. It was planned, I think, 2 weeks
before, so the excitement especially to my lil’sis was visible. It was like having an excursion/educational
field trip on one of the farms located here in our country - the best part of that was I’m with my sister
who was genuinely happy on what she have seen - and just two hours away from
the Metro. I have so many stories to tell since we’ve visited different farms
within the area, that’s why I decided to divide them part by part. And this
blog post is the Part 1 which I will be talking about the rabbits. Cutie.

As
we reached the place, the farm greeted us with these refreshing and healthy drinks
that were harvested from the backyard… what I meant is… farm. *wink*
As
per Ms. Gigi, since her husband will be working on the other country for 2
years they have to stay in Philippines together with her 2 kids. But life could
be boring then if she has nothing to do aside from taking care of their
children. By then, they decided to buy a property in Batangas on which after
several months they have decided to transform into farm. Since the family loves
Rabbits as their pet, they’ve decided to come up with a Rabbitry Farm. At
first, it was a 100% family pleasure that soon had been converted to family
business and that’s the start of farming rabbits – The Robby Rabbitry Farm.
Yes, they do have different breeds of rabbits that afterwards, after several
months of culturing and nurturing, it’ll be turns out to a rabbit meat which
will be exported. Dearies, it tasted good (yep, we also had a chance to eat
rabbit meat, will be posting it on my part 2).
Meanwhile,
as we go along on our journey, we met these cuties. Oh, they’re so fluffy!

Wondering
where they got their looks? Oh, from this cute little patootie Robby. He’s so
sweet and caring. See? He’s very careful with his pets and hugs them once in a
while to feel his love. Sweet indeed!
That’s
it for now. I’ll be posting in a few days for my part 2, so watch out for it! Hopefully, the schools of today will include The Robby Rabbitry Farm on their bucket list of places to visit every Field Trip so students will be educated how fun farming is. Plus, an inspiration will be with you as you go home.

Humans only consume meat for their taste, not for nutrition. (I can argue about nutrition all day as plants have FAR MORE nutrients than meat in a 100g basis -- protein included. Let's start with spirulina.)
This blog entry of yours is disgusting and again, VERY IGNORANT. I am NEVER stepping foot on these kinds of businesses.
I hope you will do your research and do not promote companies who exploit animals just to earn a profit. (Leather goods companies, companies who test their makeup ingredients on animals, your dog food where they purchase meat for manufacturing from gassed dogs and cats, zoos where animals are confined from their natural habitat, animal circuses where animals are tortured incessantly just so they can be trained to perform in front of humans, elephant poaching in africa where elephants' faces are brutally chopped off while poachers grab their tusks and leave them to suffer, pigs and cows mutilated, burned, torched alive, throats slit and hung upside down conscious, and the list goes on.) National Geographic is covering a story like this sometime within the week. Please educate yourself.
There are many other ways to do businesses which does not involve the suffering of animals in exchange for your luxury.
