Pantalan sa Terraza |
Howdy guys and gals! It’s been a while and I’ve been on hiatus. Gee… I wish I am sitting right next to a beach, a mountain, perhaps a lake or much better with the stunning view of Taal Volcano. Well, we all wish that Mondays would not come quick. Ha-ha. But nevertheless, Mondays are meant to have a good start, a new beginnings and be motivated to keep one’s going and have the best of the world’s offering.
So, yes, I am already looking forward for weekends to come so that A and I could have our weekly routine, right after work, and that is to have a mini-vacation slash staycation in a posh hotel or resort within or nearby the metropolis or maybe a quick out-of-town trip. The idea of traveling and visiting places always make us enthralled for the experience it could bring.

A already had been to Club Balai Isabel and that was last
year during their company’s offsite team building. Though, she had no chance to
roam around and explore its beauty due to games and activities planned for that
day (she’ll blog a separate entry for that so watch out for it!) but she sees
to it that she would come back and enjoy what Club Balai Isabel could offer to its guests and yes it happened
sometime last month and we were more than thankful for the great experience it
bestowed upon us.
Spending weekends close to nature was what Club Balai Isabel offered to us. It has a great and perfect view of Taal Volcano; it is too close for us to see its serenity. While on the other side, there were trees that give us shades against the sunlight. Guests have an option on where to enjoy swimming by having three swimming pools that has its own features and characteristics.
The Kumintang Pool is the biggest of them all, it has kids pool and 9-ft deep portion where anyone can enjoy swimming without too much crowd. This is also the part of the resort where weddings were held. Just in front the Terraza Café, there’s a Terraza Pool with a stunning view of Taal Lake. Here, you can enjoy the best of both worlds – sipping your favorite cocktails or A’s ever-favorite banana-mango shake while enjoying the picturesque view. By the way, the “health is wealth” drink available at Terraza Café was perfect for refreshment! And the third one, the Talisay Pool. It is located near the basketball court and covered with trees, thus, swimming at Talisay Pool gives the great venue of privacy and romantic getaway.

time for lunch! - had some pizza, too! |

Ofcourse, eating is always a part of relaxation and we couldn’t contain our excitement when we had these sumptuous dishes over lunch. As much as we vegetables, we opted for some juicy meats this time. Crispy Pata, Kare-kare, Talisay Bagnet, Chicken Liempo were some of the flavorful dishes we’d tried. And all were tasted heavenly. To balance the meal, there’s a garden salad available in the menu. Guys, Terraza Café really offers great and comfort food that’s why it is not a questionable act when we saw my cousin (who has travel tours and services) who brought his guests from Israel to Club Balai Isabel because it is highly recommendable when you’re in Batangas.

The
final verdict - he says, she says:
P: Such a good experience
staying at Club Balai Isabel. The place and the ambiance is excellent. All
staffs are very accommodating and friendly. The best part of this club can
offer is the scenic view of the Taal volcano. Not to mention, Club Balai Isabel
is just 20 minutes away from Tagaytay. The club offers lots of sports and activities. Tennis,
basketball, swimming. And even roaming around using a bicycle that you can rent
for few hours. Our room is alright. Quite
big actually. One thing I could negatively say is for lacking of toiletries
like toothpaste and toothbrush. The food
is so delicious and plenty. Lots to choose from. Will definitely go back here!A: Overall experience was wonderful! I had a great time staying at the huge resort where I blissfully close to nature – the green surrounding, the lake, the beautiful overlooking Taal Lake. Staying at the tree-house for hours just looking at the kids swimming at the Kumintang Pool while others doing their water sports activities were some of the reasons why I love Club Balai Isabel. It was more of giving me more than what I needed and yet, I chose to do nothing but appreciates simple things. Two thumbs up for me!
